sorbent filtering system in regenerating transformer oils raise the important question;\u00a0 What do we do with the used Fuller&#8217;s Earth?\u00a0 Can the sorbent material be re-used or do we just dump it in the trash?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>GlobeCore<\/strong><\/em> has the answer and the solution to the sorbent disposal problem.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><em>GlobeCore<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has two types of oil regeneration machines:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the first type of unit (CMM-R series) utilizes a Fuller&#8217;s Earth system in which the sorbent is automatically &#8220;<em>Re-Activated&#8221; <\/em>by the regeneration unit itself<\/li>\n<li>and the second type of unit (UVR series) utilizes a manual sorbent reactivation system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Fuller&#8217;s Earth is a mineral that has a very large surface area of high chemical activity.\u00a0 During the regeneration process, the high activity chemical sites on the surface of the material become blocked by polar compounds.\u00a0 They are then rendered inactive when they have processed the maximum amount of contaminated oils, fluids or fuels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>With older Fuller&#8217;s Earth Systems, the spent sorbent material had to be removed and disposed of after every regeneration cycle making the regeneration process time consuming, labor intensive, very expensive and very damaging to the environment.\u00a0 There was no efficient and cost effective way to <em><strong>Re-Activate<\/strong><\/em> the sorbent materials, so they were discarded.\u00a0 <br style=\"color: #333333;\" \/><br style=\"color: #333333;\" \/><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Regeneration can be defined as meaning; &#8220;the process of cleaning our polar compounds,&#8221; e.g. from insulating oils. <\/span>The oils and fluids were being regenerated, but the sobent filtering materials amounted to nothing more than costly waste products at the end the regeneration process.\u00a0 The industry needed a way to re-use the sorbent materials by <strong><em>Re-Activating<\/em><\/strong> the sorbent qualities so that the Fuller&#8217;s Earth could be used over and over again like the oil it was regenerating rather than being discarded into landfills and possibly contaminating ground water.\u00a0 The problem was how to do this without a costly, time consuming, and labor intensive process.<\/p>\n<p>Times have changed, technologies have advanced, and <strong><em>GlobeCore<\/em><\/strong> engineers have developed a new industry leading technology that allows oil regeneration and automatic sorbent <em><strong>Re-Activation<\/strong><\/em> to be combined into one piece of equipment.\u00a0 So now we have a machine that can regenerate oil and re-activate its own sorbent material automatically after each regeneration cycle.\u00a0\u00a0The <strong><em>GlobeCore<\/em><\/strong> engineers have eliminated all three elements that prevented the widespread use oil regeneration equipment;
