CMM-10RL Transformer Oil Regeneration Plant

GlobeCore CMM-10RL is a deep-regeneration unit designed to restore transformer oil and a wide range of dielectric and industrial fluids to a near-virgin condition.
Oil is purified by passing it through ten regeneration columns packed with a total of 750 kg of Fuller’s earth sorbent. This fine-porous adsorbent captures oxidation products, sludge, acids, moisture and other harmful impurities as the fluid circulates through. The effect is visible: dark, spent oil turns clear again, dielectric strength improves, acid number falls and overall stability is recovered. Reclaimed oil is fully fit for further service in transformers and high-voltage equipment, reducing the need to purchase new oil and cutting waste disposal costs.
A key advantage of the CMM-10RL is its built-in sorbent reactivation system. Standard regeneration units require spent sorbent to be regularly removed and discarded — an expensive, time-consuming procedure. The CMM-10RL avoids this entirely: the sorbent is renewed inside the columns through controlled heating and oxidation, with no extraction needed. This enables 300 to 500 reactivation cycles per charge, significantly reducing consumable costs, eliminating sorbent waste and maintaining consistent output quality over time.
Beyond transformer oil, the unit handles turbine oil, Fyrquel fire-resistant fluids, hydraulic, cable, compressor, gearbox and silicone oils, Midel 7131, FR3 dielectric fluids, gas condensate, and marine and diesel fuels. It also covers oil bleaching, fuel polishing and low-viscosity marine fuel recovery — making it a versatile tool for energy companies, industrial plants, transport operators and oil service providers.
With a throughput of 0.75 m³/h, the CMM-10RL suits continuous regeneration workflows and can be integrated with drying or degassing equipment to form a complete transformer oil servicing line. Returning used oil to active service lowers procurement and disposal costs, reduces environmental impact and helps extend equipment life by keeping insulating fluids within stable electrical and chemical parameters.
