Transformer oils are essential for cooling and insulating transformer components, but oxidation gradually degrades their performance — raising acidity, encouraging sludge formation and weakening dielectric properties. Inhibitors are applied to slow this decline and extend oil service life. The GlobeCore USB-6 is designed for the accurate preparation and controlled dosing of such additives into transformer oils and other industrial fluids.

The unit performs three automated operations in sequence: drawing oil from a transformer or storage tank, blending it with a precisely measured inhibitor dose, and returning the treated oil to the system. This ensures even additive distribution throughout the oil volume, extending its stability and operational lifespan. A manual mode is also available for maintenance and component testing.

Safety is built into the core of the design. The USB-6 continuously monitors its own parameters and shuts down automatically if a fault is detected, displaying the cause instantly on the controller screen for quick diagnosis and correction.

Beyond antioxidant inhibitor injection, the unit handles antifoaming agents, corrosion inhibitors for lubricants, antioxidant packages for turbine oils and fuel additives.
