CMM-1.0LT Transformer Oil Purification Unit
The GlobeCore CMM-1.0LT is a thermal vacuum unit built for drying and filtering industrial oils used in lubrication, sealing and hydraulic control systems of gas turbine and pumping units, gas engine compressors and transformers. It can also be used to heat and dry oil-filled electrical equipment.
How it works
Oil is drawn by vacuum through a 200-micron coarse filter and into a vacuum tank containing an internal heater. As the oil rises through the tank it heats up, passes through a channeled lid into a section filled with special packing elements, then flows downward while vacuum strips out moisture vapors and dissolved gases. The treated oil is then pumped from the tank bottom through fine filters — selectable at 5, 3, 1 or 0.3 microns — to the unit outlet.
Design highlights
Placing the heater inside the vacuum tank reduces overall unit dimensions and minimizes heat loss during oil warming. Oil intake is driven entirely by the vacuum system, eliminating the need for a separate feed pump. A redesigned component layout further contributes to the unit’s compact footprint — making the CMM-1.0LT well suited for facilities where space and efficiency both matter.
