ZEOLITE DRYING CABINET SSC-15
The GlobeCore SSC-15 is a zeolite drying cabinet designed for power utilities and gas processing plants, used for the preliminary dehydration of zeolite sorbent ahead of its application in deep drying of fuel oils and natural gas.
About zeolite
Zeolite is a microporous aluminosilicate adsorbent, also known as a molecular sieve due to its ability to selectively capture molecules based on size. Up to 50% of its crystal structure consists of channels and cavities, giving it exceptional adsorptive capacity. It outperforms silica gel and activated alumina as a drying agent, particularly at low moisture levels, and offers superior heat resistance compared to other sorbents. A notable characteristic is that zeolite maintains high dehydration efficiency throughout most of its adsorption cycle, with moisture breakthrough occurring rapidly at the end — allowing its full capacity to be utilized before regeneration is needed. In many gas industry applications, zeolite eliminates the need for a gas cooling stage prior to dehydration, reducing energy consumption and simplifying the process.
Application
Preliminary drying of zeolite in the SSC-15 restores and enhances its adsorptive properties before use. The cabinet is also suitable for drying welding electrodes.
Design
The sheet steel cabinet houses a drying chamber flanked by two heating elements. A rear-mounted fan circulates heated air through side-panel openings across the chamber. Thermal insulation minimizes heat loss. The drying process is managed by a modular control unit mounted on the wall adjacent to the cabinet.
The SSC-15 is rated for outdoor temperatures of 0 to 35°C and atmospheric pressure of 630 to 800 mmHg.

- heating temperature increased to 400ºС;
- automatic temperature control ± 9 ºС;
- a door screw lock available to improve hermetization;
- Convenient design allows to remove trays, thereby making it possible to use the cabinet for other tasks : heating, hardening and baking.
At the customer’s needs and requirements the drier can be equipped with:
- Heating elements up to 800ºС, allowing to extend the range of chamber application;
- automatic door control, preventing the dryer door opening until it cools down. Protecting the staff from getting burns.
