Industrial Disinfectant Making Machine

Antiseptic production as a business

The strains of microorganisms constantly mutate. New viruses and bacteria appear, and it is better to prevent the disease than try to cure it later. This is why the market for hand and surface treatment antiseptics will grow, remaining a promising business. The use of antiseptics in the developing countries has not yet become commonplace, which makes for viable export opportunities.

Hand and surface treatment antiseptic formula

The simplicity of the formula is another advantage of household antiseptic production. Some of the basic components are alcohol (at least 60%), a moisturizer and a scent, which covers the unpleasant smell of alcohol.

These components must be thoroughly blended, making blending equipment the centerpiece of every hand and surface antiseptic production line.

Blending equipment for antiseptic production

A common approach to antiseptic production is to use large tanks, where the components are mixed with agitators. GlobeCore has developed the USB blending machine to do away with the mixing tanks, save on equipment footprint, increase production rates, optimize the process and make it as efficient as modern technologies allow.

The USB plants can mix any number of ingredients, with the flow of each managed by a portioner. The use of ingredients is optimal: the plant takes only as much of the liquid component as is needed to make a high quality product. Blending occurs hydrodynamically, and takes seconds due to cavitation. No large mixing vessels are necessary. The product from the USB machines can be supplied directly to the bottling section.

Why choose USB mixing plants?

To sum up, the benefits that make the USB an excellent solution for making antiseptic solutions are as follows:

The price of the USB blending machines starts at $10,000. The investment to commission a USB machine may be higher than  that for batch mixers. However, the return on investment comes quickly due to reduced operating costs and higher production capacity.

It is possible to install the blending machine on a skid or a trailer. The mobility of the machine makes it possible to produce antiseptic solutions in the same facilities where the ingredients are made.

GlobeCore extends invitation to the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition-2019

GlobeCore invites all businesses and parties interested in the implementation of innovative technologies to the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition.

This event is biannual, and this year will be hosted by Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, Kentucky on 1-3 October. The exhibition focuses, among other things, on electric power transmission and distribution, wastewater treatment, natural gas supply etc.

GlobeCore will be represented in the first two categories by the CMM-G designed to change oil in wind turbine gearboxes and the AVS vortex layer device. You can see these machines and speak with our specialists at booth 2240.

The CMM-G simplifies and accelerates oil change in wind turbines. To protect the new oil from instantly becoming contaminated with impurities left in the gearbox after draining the oil oil, the machine also washes the gearbox with special flushing oil. As for the vortex layer device, it increases the efficiency of the existing wastewater purification systems, reducing process duration and chemical consumption.

Looking forward to meeting you at International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition-2019!

GlobeCore Holds Presentations In Saudi Arabia

On 16-27 December 2018, GlobeCore specialists visited Saudi Arabia.

The visit was dedicated to the issues of the Saudi electricity industry and efficiently addressing such problems. Specifically, GlobeCore equipment presentations were held in the cities of Jeddah, Medina, Jizan, Abha etc.

The structure of the presentations varied depending on the specialization of the company hosting the presentation. For instance, turbine operators were presented with regeneration of turbine oil using a laboratory version of the UVR system, while power transformer owners were shown a demonstration of electrical insulation oil regeneration.

Another topic for discussion was the use of water-fuel emulsions based on heavy oil in the power plants of Saudi Arabia. Note that GlobeCore makes the USB blending units which produce stable water-fuel emulsions. Combustion of these emulsions reduces the amount of harmful atmospheric emissions and saves fuel.

The participants of the presentations were also highly interested in regenerating transformer oil with Fuller’s earth, restoration of transformer oil in an energized transformer, degassing of cable oils, evacuation of transformer etc.

The presentations helped build a strong foundation for the cooperation between GlobeCore and the Saudi electrical energy companies, which is expected to yield results in 2019.

GlobeCore Holds a Seminar in Mexico

A seminar on purification and regeneration of industrial oils, as well as power transformer servicing, was held in Mexico City on 29 November 2018.

This seminar became one of the most attended events recently held by GlobeCore. The number of participants reached approximately 100, representing 40 companies from Mexico, Salvador and Guatemala, which are related to the electric power or petrochemical waste disposal industries in one way or another.

Traditionally, the seminar was divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. During the former, the participants listened both to GlobeCore specialists and representatives from other companies which expressed their wish to make presentations on the important points of industrial oil purification, the use of adsorbent media (Fuller’s earth) for oil regeneration and servicing of power transformers.

Following the presentations, the participants had a change to see GlobeCore equipment (CMM-0.6 and a laboratory scale UVR unit). The latter unit was used for a demonstration of waste oil regeneration. In the process of demonstration, all of the operational parameters of the oil were fully restored.

The development and manufacturing of equipment for purification and regeneration of mineral oil is a priority of GlobeCore business. This equipment offers a range of benefits, such as financial savings by extending oil service life, reduction of environmentally harmful waste products and improved reliability of oil filled equipment.

Equestrianism Competition

In the middle of October, horseback riding competitions were held based on the “Four Horseshoes” riding school.

Showjumping became the icing on the cake. The competitors were to follow a route with special barriers, usually 80 to 135 cm high. If a horse touches the barrier, it easily falls apart, protecting the rider and the animal from possible injury. If this happens, the participant receives demerit points.

Winners were determined in several age groups. Experienced and distinguished athletes also demonstrated their performances.

However, victory is not the most important thing in such events. Equestrian competitions are spectacular and vibrant: the field is decorated, the riders wear brightly colored costumes and the horses are elegant and graceful; everything here is about creating a festive atmosphere and entertaining the spectators.

A СММ-10 Unit Servicing Transformer Substations in Kenya

GlobeCore engineers spent a week in Kenya (1 – 7 October) to commission a CMM-10 unit.

The unit was installed at Suswa substation and was used to purify electrical insulation oil and to fill transformers with the oil. The capacity of the CMM-10 in degassing, drying and filtration mode is 10 m3/hour.

With initial gas content below 10.5% and less than 100 ppm moisture, the parameters of processed oil are as follows:

  • gas content below 0.1%;
  • water content below 5 ppm;
  • ISO 4406 purity -/14/12 or better.

The CMM-10 was operated for many hours at the substation and performed exactly as specified.

To place an order for this or another type of unit, please contact one of our sales managers.

Two Units Commissioned in Italy

Another commissioning of GlobeCore equipment took place on 5-7 September in Italy.

This type, two CMM units with the capacities of 0.7 and 4 m3/hour were commissioned. These units are best suited for companies which operate, repair or service various oil-filled electrical equipment, such as transformer, high voltage switchgear, tap changers etc.

The CMM units remove solid particles, water and gas from electrical insulation oil. The purity of processed oil fully complies with standard requirements. This type of equipment can process new oil before first filling electrical equipment and used oil.

GlobeCore Equipment Presented in Poland

Energetab, the largest exhibition of modern energy equipment and technologies in Poland was held in Bielsko-Biala on 11-13 September 2018.

This year’s exhibition included 712 companies over more than 35 000 m2 of exhibition floor. Among other exhibitors, GlobeCore presented two of its units: the CMM-0.6 and the UVR-L (laboratory).

The СММ-0.6 is a compact and mobile machine for filtration and degassing of 600 liters of electrical insulation oil per hour. The СММ-0.6 fully meets the modern requirements of the energy sector in terms of its capabilities of processing transformer oil, as well as other types of oil, used in switches, inputs and on-load tap changers.

The UVR is more versatile, with the capability to process not only transformer oil, but also other liquids used in the energy and other industries (turbine and industrial oil). The laboratory scale version of the unit allows to evaluate the efficiency of regeneration for various conditions (oil type, degree of contamination, sorbent consumption rate etc), as well as demonstrate the treatment process. This last function makes it possible for exhibition visitors to see more of the GlobeCore processes.

Below is a brief photo report on our visit to Energetab-2018.

Oil Change in FL2500 Wind Turbine

This summer, GlobeCore was contracted to change the oil in the gearbox of an FL2500 wind turbine by Fuhrländer Windtechnology LLC.

The analysis of the Mobil XMP 320 oil samples taken from the gearbox of the 2.5 MW FL2500 wind turbine (100 meter mast height) indicated the need for urgent oil change, which was performed with the GlobeCore CMM-G unit.

The oil change was performed rapidly, with the GlobeCore equipment demonstrating high quality in all modes:

  • extraction of old oil;
  • cleaning the gearbox with flushing oil;
  • filling the gearbox with clean oil.
